'Twas the night before Christmas when all through te body shop,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mech.
The stocking were hung by Hooper's store,
In hopes that St. Nick would fill them to the core.
The seedy birds were all nestled all snug in their crates.
While Rosita hoped Santy Clause wouldn't be late.
And Elmo in his eye covers and Zor in her cap,
Had just settled their rubber bands for a long winters nap.
When out on Sesame Street there was a smash.
Abby sprang up from the fan to see what was the honk, bang, crash!
To her eyes she saw Oscars can
He was trying to come up with a plan.
This plan was a way to help Santa find his way,
Abby and Oscar knew they needed help but all around them the muppets lay.
With a honk of the horn
The muppets were re-born
Cookie brought crumbs to make a trail,
Bert brought bottles in a pail
With this they thought Santa would now follow
And then the characters wouldn't have tears and wollow.
Ernie and rubber ducky wanted in
They came up with a path made of Christmas lights for the win.
Grover tried to help as well
But got all tangled and fell.
And then all of a sudden Telly heard off stage
The sounds of an animal trying to get out of a cage
Could it be "J" the letter of the day
Or "8" the number of the day
Then honker said what all were thinking
He said," maybe it's Santa" without even blinking
But could it be
Where would he put the presents for the muppets didn't even have a tree.
Baby bear all dressed in fur from his head to his foot
And grundgetta all tarnished with ashes and soot
Decided to explore
When all of a sudden there was a shadow at the "123" door
Count couldn't add this up
If it wasn't Jenny then who could this be?!
He spoke not a word but went straight to his work
And filled all the stockings then turned with a jerk
Stepping out in the light
We all knew it was a special night
Our tall yellow friend was dressed in red
A satin suit and a hat upon his head
It was big bird as St.Nick
This gave all the muppets a kick
But they wondered where the real Santa was
Big bird quickly hushed the buzz.
He explained that seeing isn't believing
And Christmas should be about love not receiving
All the muppets cheered as they hung on tight
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"
