So today I was watching A Chorus Line at the Jacksonville Florida Time Union Theater and a question was proposed. In the musical they posed a question, "What would you do if you couldn't dance?" I am a dancer and that is my passion. I am always moving and always stretching and extending my bodies in ways most humans cant even imagine to bend. I thought about this question and I thought I would have to have an answer to this. But the truth of the matter is that I don't have an answer to this question. I can tell you that I would go into teaching since I have my degree but that is expected and that is more of a cover up. I could not just throw my life away with out any more movement. I want to always have a heavy but lite heart (modern dance style terms). I want to be able to just get up and move to the beat of the music, turn, jump, leap, lung.
