So I haven't written in awhile and I'm sorry. I have been busy. But that isn't an excuse for I should take time out of my day todo things for me. A little side note. My mother has always told me to put myself first because no one else ever truly will. I refused to fully believe this until this past year, 2013. She is right that everyone should focus on themselves first but do not forget to focus energy on other they care about as well. So I am working on this and I like journaling so I am going to try to make it a point to put myself first and journal a little more.
So back to what I have been up to. Well I got to see my family in Las Vegas which was the best thing this girl could have asked for. I am very close to my family and they are my rock and support system. Especially my mother. She knows when to kick me in the behind as well as when to give me encouraging words. I spent a long weekend seeing shows, the sights and eating great food! When they left it was hard but Skype, FaceTime, text messages and phone calls have worked wonderfully!
I went to Denver and saw two very close college friends! Had a wonderful Thanksgiving home cooked meal that made being away for the holiday so much better.
Thanksgiving day was spent with the company I am touring with and we all came together as family. We did a 5K Turkey Trot, ate lots of food, saw the Macy's Parade on TV and watched football.
Now we are in Canada and have been since Dec 2 and will be here til Dec 23.
So that's how we got into the country, lets see how we get out!
