Currently I am in Topeka, Kansas. This is the place where Brown Vs. Board of Education came into being. I visited the Monroe Elementary School (one of three elementary schools that were for the blacks). In Topeka only elementary school was segregated.
I also got to see Tiffany windows at the First Presbyterian Church.
Well now off to dance four shows over the next three days and then back on the bus to South Dakota. The bus leaves at 1am on Monday, October 21, 2013. Wish me lots of sleeping fairies!!!!
