So today I was watching A Chorus Line at the Jacksonville Florida Time Union Theater and a question was proposed. In the musical they posed a question, "What would you do if you couldn't dance?" I am a dancer and that is my passion. I am always moving and always stretching and extending my bodies in ways most humans cant even imagine to bend. I thought about this question and I thought I would have to have an answer to this. But the truth of the matter is that I don't have an answer to this question. I can tell you that I would go into teaching since I have my degree but that is expected and that is more of a cover up. I could not just throw my life away with out any more movement. I want to always have a heavy but lite heart (modern dance style terms). I want to be able to just get up and move to the beat of the music, turn, jump, leap, lung.

I'm Slap Happy With Rehearsal

Day two of rehearsal and the cast has already learned 9 scenes out of the 20 scenes in the entire show! Rehearsals have been long sweaty but tons of fun!! The show is coming together. The cast has met, bonded and learning their placements onstage. We are rehearsing at a dance studio right now. Sunday, September 22 was the first day of rehearsal and Thursday, September 26 we stage blocking on the stage at the arena. Our books are getting marked and being reviewed every night by the cast!
